Matt Watson
Matt is an experienced instructor in firearms, close quarter battle and tactical medicine. He has served as the Lead Instructor for Basic and Advanced SWAT schools for a Northern Virginia regional police academy having trained hundreds of officers. He has created and taught Active Shooter programs for several law enforcement agencies in Virginia. Mr. Watson spent 12 years as an instructor for the Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service teaching Firearms, CQB, Defensive Tactics and High Threat Protection. He is currently a reserve deputy in Virginia.

Tom Keller
Tom began his Law Enforcement career in 1999 as a Corrections Officer in the state of West Virginia. Since 2004 he has been employed as a police officer in the state of Virginia and serves on his agency’s SWAT team as a sniper. During his career Mr. Keller has continuously received training in tactical operations and close quarters combat. Mr. Keller’s experience and real world execution of high risk tactical missions gives him the ability to assist others in training on tactics, weapons manipulation and firearms safety.

Doug Watson
Doug has over 22 years law enforcement experience with 21 years at a city police department where he retired from at the rank of Captain. Doug began his career in patrol operations and was selected to the department’s Special Enforcement Team which was a full-time drug interdiction unit. In 2005 Doug was selected for the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and was named “Top Operator” of his SWAT Basic class. During his time on SWAT he was involved in hundreds of tactical operations to include high risk warrant services, armed barricade subjects, hostage rescues, and VIP protection. He became the lead instructor for the regional SWAT Basic school and in 2010 Doug was appointed SWAT Commander which he held until he retired from the police department in 2022. He continued his service with a sheriff’s office where he was appointed as Commander of the Special Response Team (SRT) and continues to work there full-time as a deputy. When off-duty, Doug is an avid practitioner of carrying concealed weapons (CCW) and enjoys teaching responsible citizens how to properly carry and use guns for personal protection.
