Tactical Pistol II
Course Description
This one day course is designed to take an experienced pistol shooter and build up their tactical skill set. It is designed to dovetail into the skills learned in Tactical Pistol I. This course is physically challenging and several courses of fire combine moving and shooting. Students should have completed Tactical Pistol I course prior to attending. The topics that will be covered include:
- Stress Shoots
- Shoot/ No Shoot scenarios
- Shooting on the move
- Alternate shooting positions
Required Equipment
- Eye Protection (wrap around style) (available for use)
- Pistol w/ holster (NO chest rigs)
- Three magazines
- Magazine retention system (vest, belt, chest harness, etc.)
- Ear Protection (available for use)
- 300 rounds of ammunition
Recommended Equipment
- Cold/ Wet Weather Gear (as appropriate)
- Notebook w/ writing utensil
- Weapon Cleaning kit
- Knee pads
- Brimmed hat
- Appropriate clothing (no shorts)
- Camelback or similar
